Floor plans
To know exactly where a defect or improvement point is located, place a snag on a floor plan. This could be a construction drawing, or a photo, or another file showing the location of the construction project.
Upload floor plan
To add a map, go to Floor plans in the left menu under Quality control. Here you will see an overview of the floor plans that have already been uploaded in your organization or project. For each floor plan you can see how many snags have been placed on it and how many forms the floor plan appears in.
Then choose Upload floor plan. Select the .png, .jpeg or .pdf file you want to use. You will now see the floor plan appear in the list and can add it to forms and snags.
Adding a floor plan from the DMS
You can also add a floor plan from the DMS section of Prostream. This way you know that even when new versions of the floor plan are uploaded, everyone always sees the latest version.
In the document overview, select the file that you want to use as a floor plan and click on the map. The floor plan appears in the floor plan overview under Quality control. You can now also link it to a form or snag.
